The main clubhouse was originally constructed in 1840 as a brewery. The clubhouse underwent a major transformation in 1872, becoming the esteemed Godstone Literary Institute, providing reading rooms for the local community.

Godstone Club and Institute was officially established in 1910.

A full-size snooker table, darts and other indoor activities are still available today, with 4 TV screens showing the majority of live sporting events via Sky and TNT.

Privately owned by the Greenwell family, bowls from 1921 and Tennis from 1925 were played on the land that was very generously gifted to the Godstone Charitable Trust in 1964 by Sir Peter Greenwell, along with the existing pavilion which was also used by Godstone FC which was established in 1897, solidifying commitment to the community.

In 1973, the GSA (Godstone Sports Association) was formed to oversee the affiliated sports clubs, which now also included Godstone Table Tennis Club. The old Cricket pavilion was replaced by a new building which became home to both Cricket and Football.

Unveiling the Club Coffee Bar, a fresh addition to the scene in 2021, where you can now relax in a delightful space to meet with friends, savour scrumptious snacks, and Indulge in great tasting coffee that sings with freshness.

By the year 2023, the club had effortlessly transformed itself into a renowned hub for music enthusiasts, hosting an array of new and popular bands on a regular basis.
